Position Description

 

The Division of Public and Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Health Program Manager 1 in Carson City, NV. This position will manage the Bureau of Behavioral Health Wellness and Prevention's housing and behavioral health planning programs, including program planning and evaluation, grant/fiscal management, and policy development/compliance.  The position may supervise, train and evaluate the performance of subordinate professional and administrative staff, and serve as a resource to lower level staff. This position must function with little direct supervision and general direction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science or related field and three years of health-related professional experience, one year of which was supervisory and included providing or coordinating the delivery of health care services, budget monitoring, and interpretation of regulations, policies and directives related to health care delivery systems; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
