Position Description
Personnel Technicians perform a wide variety of personnel activities including personnel records processing, recruitment and examining, new hire orientation, list certification, and payroll support duties.
This Personnel Technician 2 position is located in the Payroll/Central Records units of the Division of Human Resource Management in Carson City, Nevada. This position is responsible for responding to emails questions, review/auditing/approving personnel actions in SuccessFactors and applying corrections to employee histories in both SuccessFactors and ADV-HR. Responds to Agency HR Representative questions and inquiries regarding personnel actions, clarification, and guidance regarding NAC, DHRM policies/procedure, Central Records policy/procedures. Assists Personnel Tech 1 with responding to agency requests for prior service and employment verifications when needed. Assists other Personnel Tech 2 positions with personnel actions, clarification, and interpretation of NAC, DHRM policies and procedures and Central Records policies and procedures. Index previous pay period ADV-HR ESMT hard copy documentation into Service Jacket database.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of technical personnel/payroll experience; OR one year of experience as a Personnel Technician I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
