Position Description

The Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS) is recruiting for a Casework Management Specialist 1 in Elko, Nevada. This recruitment may be used to underfill a Casework Management Specialist 3. Progression to the next level in the series may occur after meeting the minimum qualifications, satisfactory performance, and with the endorsement of the appointing authority. 

Casework Management Specialists within the Department of Health & Human Services, Division of Child & Family Services, provide case management services for children and their families and may be assigned to one of many specialized programs and/or facilities where duties may be performed in the home and/or any similar setting. Incumbents receive training in performing the duties outlined in the series concept.

This is a full-time position that will be located in Elko. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, special education, human growth and development, criminal justice, psychology, counseling, social work, sociology or closely related social/human services related field.
