Position Description

The Division of Child and Family Services is recruiting for a Clinical Program Manager (CPM) 1. This position is the first-line clinical manager and supervisor at Desert Willow Treatment Center, a 32-bed child & adolescent psychiatric hospital. The CPM directs clinical services and residential treatment bed capacity, participates in quality assurance, utilization review, data collection of restraints and seclusion, data analysis, direct peer review process with medical records, employee recruitment, and provides in-service training. The CPM supervises the Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatric Caseworkers, and Therapeutic Recreational Specialists. The Clinical Program Manager ensures that the Clinical Social Workers are providing evidenced-based treatment to youth and families, Psychiatric Caseworkers facilitate groups, and multi-disciplinary treatment teams and work with families to ensure success in treatment and is responsible for ensuring that the admission, care, and discharge procedures comply with The Joint Commission Standards.  The Clinical Program Manager leads the Residential Admissions Committee, collaborates with community partners, is responsible for ensuring that the admission, care, and discharge procedures comply with The Joint Commission, Health Care Quality and Compliance, and Medicaid Health Standards and that all practices adhere to the values and principles of a System of Care.

This is a full time position that will be located in Las Vegas. Minimum Qualifications

  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and three years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified; OR a Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D) from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and two years of experience as described above, one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified.

  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or licensed Psychologist.
