Position Description

Stein Forensic Hospital is a secure inpatient hospital for mentally disordered offenders located in Las Vegas, NV who have been court ordered to undergo; assessment, treatment, restoration services, and receive competency evaluations to proceed with their criminal cases. The facility is recruiting for Clinical Social Worker II positions. This position supports SOUTHERN NEVADA ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (SNAMHS), through a team approach. We provide innovative inpatient and outpatient mental health services for the Southern Nevada community. 

 

Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients in an inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
